The Scottish start-up ecosystem is among the most close-knit and supportive in the world. With support by the government through Scottish Enterprise and Business Gateway, networks like Entrepreneurial Spark, and RBS, scottish companies thrive. The Scottish EDGE is a competition aimed at identifying and supporting Scotland’s up-and-coming, innovative, high-growth potential entrepreneurial talent, and has helped businesses including Mallzee, Beauty Kitchen and Appointedd take off internationally.

Connect-In Co-Founder & COO, Vincenz Klemt, sees this as “a privilege and opportunity to grow the team within Silicon Glen”, and Raj Sark, CEO, adds that the strength of the EDGE network is a positive addition after the company had joined [email protected] in 2015.
